Day 5: A Day in the Vatican City

Today we visited many places in Rome ranging from town squares to the biggest church in the world, St. Peter's Basilica, which is built on top of the Apostle Peter's tomb. We started the day at St. Paul's Basilica, a smaller but still very impressive church.
Next we worked our way to the Vatican City where we spent 4 hours looking at the world's largest collection of art and artifacts, visiting the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's along the way. The sheer size of the buildings here will never cease to amaze me. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.
